Isoyu is back

Hello everyone, it’s been awhile since I’ve had the time and motivation to write a blog post. This post is just to catch you guys up with what I’ve been doing. I will try to not make this a long-winded post, so make sure you read right to the end!

When I posted my last blog, I was based in Dubai for a two-month internship in the degree I am currently studying; architecture. Internships are an essential part of any architecture degree. I was lucky enough to cinch a two-month internship at CallisonRTKL in the Emirates. It was an eye-opening experience filled with opportunities. It helped me define the way I want my future career to look.

I’ve now finished my undergraduate degree and looking forward to what the rest of the year has in store.

Moving on to the stuff you guys are really interested about; fashion and my styling. I think my style has evolved with time and those of you who follow me on Instagram (@_isoyu) will have seen this in the way that I style both my myself and others.

Since returning to the UK, I have styled four shoots (I will be releasing posts for all of these shoots with a little bit on information on each) where I have worked with models from various agencies. Styling outfits on shoots and for others helps me show you what my style is truly about.

Now I’m ready to get back to where it all started – styling myself. Though collaborating with others has been great, I want to refocus and hone my personal style. Something that really interests me is vlogging, not only my fashion, but my day to day life experiences and hair/beauty care. This is definitely something I will be starting in the near future. Giving you guys a little bit of insight into my daily routines.

Finally, we experienced some really amazing weather in Manchester recently and I had to make the most of it and get back in front of the camera. I shot with a new photographer, Nadia (@Nadiap_photography) and she produced some amazing shots! These pictures were edited by @Jvfvr. As a team we wanted to capture a summery vibe with the shoot. Stay tuned for the results over the next few weeks!
